"The Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall is a large modern shopping mall across the square from the Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum and A formosa historic monument.
We entered the air conditioned mall to escape the intense heat following a visit to the Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum. After looking around a few clothes stores and buying some toiletries at the Watsons drugstore my wife and I found the Locca cafe on the ground floor of the mall during a visit in early June 2026.
We just had some drinks, a cold iced lemon tea for my wife & a hot cuppa tea for me, however there was an extensive food & drinks menu with many local families and a 2 other tourists eating there when we visited. The food being served looked very appetising and we would have tried some if we hadn't recently eaten breakfast at our hotel
We were given physical menus when we entered, however, there were also QR codes on each table for customers to order directly. I had trouble connecting to the Internet and a kind waiter came over to take our order.
The cafe was very modern and clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful."

"The prawn spaghetti was truly delightful and the prawns had a crispy golden coating on the outside, while the inside was soft, juicy, and tender. The tomyam flavor blended perfectly with the spaghetti, giving every bite a rich and satisfying taste.

As for the dumplings, I honestly have no words to describe them they stood out so much. Unlike many other places, these dumplings were generously filled with chicken meat, making them hearty and flavorful. Paired with the chili oil, the taste was simply irresistible.

Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I’d rate the experience a solid 8/10."
